This was better than the first in this series, and while parts were predictable it was a fun read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I saw the twins treachery from the first book so was not surprised about them or Murtagh surviving and switching sides.

I’m very curious to see how Eragon and Arya’s friendship changes in the third book, as it backpedaled in this one due to supernaturally hormonal teens.
