FINALLY Nate is back. Oh how I missed him... While any book of by the author I read has been really amazing, Nate still is my personal favourite character. I loved following his way from Crimes against magic to here - and I'm so glad to finally have him back and find out what happened to him in the meantime and what'll happen next!
And this didn't disappoint! I loved it from start to finish and devoured the whole thing in 1,5 days. We get to see so many old friends again and once again meet new ones. The characters are still as amazing and the snark and sarcasm is strong and had me snort more than once.
My only - very slight - annoyance with this one was the frequent mentions of sex, which felt a few too much and so started to feel a hit repetitive which always bugs me. As with all but the first book there is no actual graphic sex scenes though.
Aside from that - action, tone, voice, plot and characters once more absolutely and fully on point and a real pleasure to read!
