Blue Lines by Toni Aleo

Re-read #???: Doesn't matter, but I've re-read this series and this book so many times. I know Erik is a douchecanoe.... I still fucking love this story (12/12/19)

Disclaimer, I read books 1-4 and 6 before this one several weeks ago. I still think Tate Oooder is my favorite Assassin hockey player, but that’s besides the point

I want to say thank you to Toni Aleo for cutting down the length of this book to an appropriate amount. In her other stories I felt that a lot of chapters were just there for word count and ended up being pointless. I’m so grateful this was a lot shorter which made me actually enjoy reading it.

Erik isn’t a main character you love. His treatment of Piper is awful. The deal that they made is absolutely ridiculous, but I do understand why Piper agrees. Love truly can mKe you blind. I wish Aleo wrote Erik in a better way. He should’ve redeemed himself more for the way he was towards Piper.

Overall this wasn’t bad. It might be my second favorite story in the series after Tate and Audrey. I might also really like this story because of the length too. Doesn’t matter though because I will recommend this story regardless!
