2.5 stars. Didn’t love. First half was full of a loose basis for their being “enemies”. It made no sense. And they were both so petty about it. Like Kiernan wouldn’t even taste her desserts out of some weird spite but also claimed to have a crush on her? Like how old are they? The whole premise was just weak for me. And it took 50% of the book to even get them on the end path.
Idk. Wasn’t terrible but I also wasn’t sad when I finally finished.
Also. Pet peeve of mine: it’s not dual POV. The entire thing is written in the third person. So we don’t need little headers with whose POV it is because it’s told in third person. Why do publishers/authors do this?
