First of all can I just state how confused I am abt the random Stefan name drop in the last line of the bonus scene I actually went back and re read it to find out where he came in and could not for the life of me figure it out lol
Ok so this was very cute, while I did spend a better half of the book getting annoyed with Violet for demeaning Cole’s ptsd and the complexity of it, after I read Trixies little light/sun catcher monologue it felt very calming. Violet and Cole are actually good for each-other and I really admired her independence it was very inspiring (but also wish their was more mention of the Eaton brother my faves)
This book felt like it had a lot of plot jumps tho and I was so very confused abt the timeline which is why it got 3 stars, I may have been slow but I feel that if I can’t figure out the timeline then it’s just too difficult like I swear to god Violet was talking abt not having meant “golddigger85” after she’d already one her first race on DD but in off to the races Billie said Cole whispered it in her ear after she won that same exact race. I just could not keep up with the constant plot jumps
