🌟🌟🌟🌟I was so intrigued by the latest from Rick Riordan as it seemed so different from his usually mythology series, and I was not dissapointed. Breathing new life into the legend that is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Riordan brings us fresh new characters that we of course adore and an incredible plot focussing on oceanic life and science. It was mesmerizing and so informative - I always learn so much from his books. Ana was a wonderful lead character, but I had a lot of love for Nelinha, Ester and Gem. The HP school was such a great concept - an oceanic Harry Potter. My chosen house would definitely be House Orca or House Dolphin. I also adore Riordan in all his books for his diversity and how he brings that to middle grade fiction. He explores different genders, relationships, cultures, mental and physical health, language - it's as if he isn't afraid to tackle anything and when he does, he brings love and respect. I honestly feel he is an inspiration for middle grade writing. Overall a great read from one of my fave authors. I absolutely recommend 💙💙
