My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands by Chelsea Handler

5.0

This book got me through a horrible flight without even noticing. I was stuck in a window seat with a screaming baby next to me, I realized too late that my iPod & headphones were still in the carry on I was forced to stash on the far end of the plane... but I was so immersed in her hilariously ridiculous & embarrassing stories (not worrying about laughing out loud or the tears down my face since that couldn't possibly be more annoying than the baby next to me) that before I noticed we had touched down - just not at the right airport.

I was so busy laughing at this book I didn't hear any of the announcements or notice we had circled our destination airport for more than an hour and hadn't been allowed to land, then we were getting low on fuel so they redirected us to another airport to land and refuel (before taking off again to head for the correct airport). I had no idea and had to ask the person next to me (the one with the baby) what had happened. Horrible flight and I spent it laughing. I've read some of her other books, but this one is still my fave.
