This was kinda fun.  It's a story of a high school senior trying to settle in with a group of peers as part of an informal group organized by one a teacher.  There's a bit more to it than that, but you'll need to read it to understand.  It pulled me in pretty quickly, and surprised me too.

The narrator uses bunches of often humorously-chosen literary citations to underscore their points.  Check this one out if you're in the mood for some clever fiction.
