there’s a lot about this book i hated. for one, it felt really juvenile to be considered YA imo. i also felt like the characters were so not enjoyable, like i didn’t care if they got hurt or anything, like i didn’t have a chance to really connect with anyone. the plot was meh and it overall felt rushed. it was hard to finish this one cause i had nothing keeping me going. the love interest was meh, the pacing was so weird and it really dragged on tbh. and everything was resolved too fast and i think that’s my biggest issue. like we would be introduced to something that sounds interesting and the result was either lackluster or resolved too quickly.

i already bought book two.. so i’m tempted to read it and get it out the way. or read something else i enjoy cause ugh
