Went into this expecting an exciting thriller but it ended up being repetative and more reflective than I thought it would be. Found one of the main characters to be unlikable and the other infuriating. The big reveal is disappointing and left me with more questions rather than answers and the pace of the book doesn’t pick up afterwards. The ending was unsatisfying and I felt like it took the lazy option for getting an emotional response out of the reader. I had such high hopes for this book and was pretty disappointed.
