Thank you Tatiana de Rosnay for writing a book that brings awareness to an event that so many don't know about. I loved the way de Rosnay created a fictional story from a historical event. The way that she weaved the two families together was engaging and made it a quick read. I'm a big fan of making sure the events of WWII don't get lost or neglected so when a book like this sheds light on a part of the war that needs to be talked about I'm all for it. This was a beautifully written story, showing all the levels of humanity.
