Two Boys Kissing
by David Levithan
I can always count on David Levithan to deliver a winning novel that deals with queer youth and their issues. And he does it again here. A book that doesn't ignore the problems of being young and queer but instead builds its entire story around it. The Greek chorus idea is so well framed and such a powerful thing. The characters felt authentic and real to me. I really liked this book. Levithan's writing continues to engage me. If you're looking for someone who's writing about queer youth, he's the first person I'd recommend.
