This Is How We Do It: One Day in the Lives of Seven Kids from Around the World by Matt Lamothe

4.0

This book is a winner. While I was reading it to my 10 year old, my husband and older daughter started listening in- if that doesn't spell interesting I don't know what would.
The over all concept is delightful: the book follows 7 real children from all over the world through an ordinary day. We learned what people in Japan, Peru, Iran, Russia, India, Italy, and Uganda might eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, what they wore to school and how they got there, what type of dwelling they lived in and how they slept. While it's deceptively simple, we were all engrossed. I highly recommend reading it.
