The plot is still interesting but idk, I can’t really get over how immature they all are.  I know they’re all 20 or younger, and I know this is rich criticism for a fantasy series, but it just seems pretty unrealistic?  Like, I think out of the main cast everyone except Enrique is younger than me, and I just turned 20 last month.  And yet Séverin and Laila are world-famous… ok.  Still reading the third book because I am gripped enough to need to know how this all gets resolved.  To be fair, after all, I finished this one in a matter of hours.
