This book was a CRAZY read. Krakauer does a great job laying out the faith of Fundamentalist Mormonism in this historic yet thrilling and confounding book. I took my time through this one as I found the extreme faith hard to stomach in some chapters. Learning about the intertwined families that practice FLDS today was at times confusing and challenging to comprehend, as they teach the value of receiving revelations from God directly, so I was at times trying to decipher what exactly is true, what they personally believe to be true, and what could seem like a fabrication. I found it difficult to understand a faith that calls its' people to perform acts of hatred, but overall a fantastic and incredibly enlightening read.
