Yet another story that had me in tears throughout.
I enjoyed how the fig tree was a character. Despite the jumping back and forth through specific time periods each setting specific to that time was eloquently described.
Not knowing much about the conflict in Cyprus during the 70’s i learned a fair amount about it.
The narrators were excellent at balancing accents which helped to strengthen the contrast between Greeks and Turks.
