This is one of the longest and most fantastic dang books I’ve ever read. It’s my absolute favourite and I even bought 2 more copies to give to my English and science teacher as a graduation present.

It’s brutal and wonderful and downright uncomfortable in some places. I really felt like I was in the world with the characters and understood everything they were going through.

The only thing I could pick at it for would be how it jumps from the losers club as children to them as adults. I feel like on one hand it takes me out of the immersion but on the other hand that’s how it was constant with the tension and the intense emotions.

Overall I would highly recommend this if you enjoy the thriller and horror genre. It’s also a great introduction to sci fi if you want to start reading sci-fi but don’t want anything to complicated.
