Finally got around to reading this @bookofthemonth pick from a few months ago. It was historical fiction with an art focus and a twist of scandal. This isn’t a book I normally would have picked up but I’m glad I got a little out of my comfort zone with this one. I tend to struggle with multiple points of view spanning different time periods and with this one I preferred the 1919 storyline with Lillian versus the 1966 storyline with Veronica. There was a plot build and the ending felt a bit neat and rushed to me to tie up loose ends. I thought the author’s writing style was nice so I may give another one of her books a try in the future.
