It was good read, however I found myself clocking out after they got together. It just felt something bad is coming and I couldn't be bothered anymore. I still finished, but it took me more days than usual. Some of the aspects were not properly executed, for example when she stepped on glass that was covered with worm eggs - did she not get infected? Why mention it then? These kind of things were happening throughout the book few times and I was still thinking about them waiting for the information from beginning to emerge later in story, but it never happened. The story of Caed being alive was seen from miles away, but it felt really lackluster, almost like an after thought. He was there, he was angry, they hugged it out and then he dipped. Kinda meh.
On plus side, it was refreshing to read about "stepfather" who even though was an ass, was still kind of decent to her.
