i feel like the couple needed a lot more time to work out their issues alone than just six months apart, because there was so much to unpack in their individual situations. it is also wild to me to give up going to hawaii for minnesota for a boy you don't know. i feel like i would have been more willing to support the couple if they had taken things slower. i did appreciate the focus on family issues in different capacities. you can make a loving family on your own no matter what circumstances you come from
