The Empty Chair by Jeffery Deaver

5.0

I started reading this series because the main character was a quadriplegic. The amount of detail and realism fascinated me, the cases were secondary.

Not the case for The Empty Chair. Every paragraph of this book dragged me forward, making it near impossible to stop reading. And just when I thought I had a handle on how things were going, the plot would make a u-turn and leave me completely flabbergasted. This is easily the best book in the series (so far at least, but I can’t imagine topping this).

I can’t wait to crack open book #4.
