Rachel Hawkins has become an automatic read for me.  There's no need to read the blurb or anything about the novel I'm in.  Just like her previous novels, The Heiress is a fast-paced, compulsive read that keeps the reader guessing.  Told between multiple points of view, the secrets are dangled in front of us like a carrot.  You never know which characters are the ones you can trust. In a dual timeline narrative, we get two mysteries to unravel in one book. Hawkins does a great job weaving the stories together.  I highly recommend those who like a twisty domestic thriller.
