i was a bit mislead by the start of this book. it opens with worldbuilding on the dynamics of this specific omegaverse universe. it briefly mentions house systems and different species of "humans" with unique social dynamics.

this is quickly thrown to the side and about 80% of this book is one long extended sex scene where the main characters completely forget about the world around them. when the world is mentioned, it's confusing and almost bizarre - did you come into this expecting it to say santa is real and that all the main characters are actually the equivalent of christmas elves? because i sure didn't.

the characters are bland and two-dimensional. the inherent almost animalistic tension usually included with omegaverse stories is non-existant as it takes about 10 minutes after meeting one another that the protagonists just go to work on each other.
