Ms. Elsie, you never disappoint! I love my sweet cinnamon roll Rhys and sassy, snarky Tabby. These two have a marriage of convenience, which is strictly to give Tabitha's nephew, Milo, a stable home. Rhys is a (semi-secret!) professional wrestler in the US and Tabby owns a restaurant in Rose Hill. Despite Rhys traveling back and forth constantly for work, these two discover that maybe they don't hate each other as much as they think.

First off, my sweet baby Rhys!! Orphaned at a young age and shuffled through the foster system, he's so closed off from everyone because he's never had ANYONE. No family, no lasting relationships, no love, and you can just tell all this man wants is somewhere and someone to call his own. Tabitha is at war with herself because she feels Rhys is just there to take Milo away from her, but the more time she spends with him, the more she realizes that Milo needs them both and maybe Rhys isn't so awful after all.

The journey of healing for these two had me in tears. Rhys understanding that he could be loved, Tabitha working through the grief of losing her sister and how they ended up in this situation in the first place. The banter was A+, the spice was A+, the emotion was A+. I would have loved to see more of their family dynamic with Milo though!

Also I need book 4 in my hands right now. September can't come soon enough!
