What a perfect historical romance novella! The author puts an incredible amount of character development in 95 pages, and there’s just the right amount of magic. You fall in love with Elin right alongside Eireanne, and I wanted to fight Death right alongside her to save Elin. Perfectly balanced seriousness with the hope of falling in love. This novella was just the antidote I needed for a long day at work.
