This reminded me a lot of a Sarah Addison Allen book and it was strangely similar to In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace that I just finished reading.
It's a sweet, sad story with a touch of magic. Centered around two daughters' relationship with their mother, it also delved into how the sisters dance around each other because both have made assumptions about the other. The ending though.....the loon. I loved it.
