A Million Worlds with You
by Claudia Gray
There may be minor spoilers ahead.
It felt like i waited so long for the last part of this trilogy because Amazon apparently had issues getting hold of a copy to send out. I finally found it on The Book Depository and was so excited when I finally received my copy of it.
The final part of this trilogy did not disappoint. I loved the first two instalments and the cliffhanger at the end of part two left me aching for the final instalment.
Marguerite's journeys into other dimensions continues to excite and entertain, and each one is unique whether subtley or incredibly different. The Cloneverse in this book was a particularly interesting world, as it allowed the Marguerites from many different universes to converse and meet each other. I was particularly impressed with the interaction between our Marguerite and that from the Russiaverse. Still, three books later, this universe hold the most intrigue for me.
Claudia Gray's writing still draws you in, and suddenly several chapters and hours have passed before you realise. I'd not read anything by this author before reading this trilogy but I know I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of her work.
The concept for these novels is an incredibly original one; I don't think I've met anything else similar yet. They do seem to be marketed as a young adult love story, and while there is the inevitable love triangle within the story that there always is with books these days, I felt that the romantic element of the story actually added something to the narrative, and made you root for the characters that little bit more.
A fantastic trilogy that I will more than likely read again in the future, and I'll definitely recommend to the bookish friends in my life.
My rating: 9/10
