This is my least favorite HP book so far (2 more to go). It was so dark and hopeless. Harry and his adolescent hormones got on my damn nerves with his whining and “woe is me” attitude. Although I appreciate him growing with the story, I spent a good amount of time slapping him in my head. Umbridge was straight up abusive and should have NEVER been allowed around children. This had to have been illegal even in the wizarding world. Dumbledore, in all his wisdom was quite dumb in his decisions. I hope Half-Blood Prince is better.
