I could give this book a million stars and it wouldn’t be enough. This is hands down one of my favorite reads. Ever. This book changed the way I view history, especially WWII. I laughed, I cried, I felt like I was living in this book, like I was a character myself. It was impossible to put this book down, and the few times that I did, I still thought about it as I went through my day. The writing, the story, the emotions it made me feel - all of it. It was so beautiful.
