Tribulation by Adam Jahnke

4.0

As an audiobook this was really good. The audio production was just what I needed for it to wrap up the whole creepy feeling of a cult trying to dominate the world.

Giving me a feeling of Hellbound Heart, but Tribulation gives pain a more “purposeful” end, which one? I don’t know… being part of a land that transcendents the physical world of the body?. Treason and power drive the novel, but a huge comedy relief is what allows the listener to continue with the story nonstop. Although the novel dwells in the paranormal activity, the reality of many cults and brain washing is the foundation of the audio production.

Sadly many religions have the same fundamentalist believe of converting or evangelizing people to join their group of brainwashed people for their own purpose. As the novel closes to its ending, it wraps too fast and quite in the air. If a solid conclusion is what makes a novel good for you, this won’t be your cup of tea. There were a few loose ends that hopefully will drive people crazy enough for a sequel of bigger proportions.
