How to End a Love Story by Yulin Kuang

4.0

Solid 3.5-4⭐️ read! If you like emotionally hefty romance (and trauma-bonding?) this one is for you. The book started off STRONG for me, but kind of faded as we went. It was less miscommunication trope and more immaturity trope? Felt like our characters had so much potential for growth and were left yearning in italics instead. Either way, enjoyed the build up (it's giving "guilty as sin"), the exploration of grief, nostalgia, and complicated family dynamics. I also loved being in a hollywood writers room.
