I LOVE SCARLET AND WOLF. THE ALPHAS OF MY HEART!!!!!! TRULY GOING THROUGH IT FOR EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!
I love the gang so much. Cinder is just doing her best, and I can’t blame her for feeling the turmoil and frustration of learning more and more about herself — her actual identity. Scarlet’s stubbornness is so endearing and admirable, and I appreciate seeing how hard it can be to hold yourself together when it feels like the whole world is falling apart around you; it made me love Scarlet that much more. Wolf’s ADD/ADHD tendencies and shyness was such a pleasant example of switching the tropes of the Big Bad Wolf. He could be scary and vicious, but his actual personality is almost like an awkward teenage boy. AND THORNE. I. LOVE. THORNE!!!! An iconic himbo!!! I truly cannot express how much I enjoy his humor and general atmosphere of “I’m super cool, please look at me, I will die if you do not pay attention to me. Please!!!” I cannot wait to have more scenes with him in Cress.
Also, poor Kai. He’s really going through it too :(
Overall: THIS??? GOOD STUFF RIGHT HERE!!!!!!!! Did Wolf and Scarlet basically invent love in chapter 46?? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!
