An okay plot and a shoddy try at resolving the themes of the story. This could have used way more introspection and a few more issues. I understand the idea at the end, Sav has to be the one to decide what was right or wrong since there's not clear answer, but her Master is then shown as someone who was wrong in the end. This kind of shuts down anything interesting that could have been done with the characters. Choosing to focus on why the pirates were so amazing and then juxtaposing that with the stuffy Jedi kind of goes against what the book was trying to do. The narrative clearly paints one side as more right than the other which made the ending seem shallow. Other than that, this was an okay story.
