The Book of Delights: Essays by Ross Gay

What a beautiful collection of essayettes!! Reading prose written by poets is such a treat, and The Book of Delights was especially lovely due to its nature and focal theme. Took me about until page 100 to get used to the short essay format, but once I got into the rhythm I was enchanted by Ross Gay's writing. It was a real joy to see the world through his eyes for a few days while meandering through this collection... I am tempted to purchase my own copy so I can thumb through it and appreciate the beauty of my favorite delights every now and then, as though it were a book of poetry.
