This book was recommended to me, so I bought it while I was reading another book. I picked it up to read before I got the next book in the series I was reading and never put it back down. It was amazing. I loved this book so so much and can't wait of finish the series.
The book is about seventeen year old Janie ( although it shows a lot of her past in the beginning ) who's been getting stuck in other peoples dreams since she was 8. Janie's father is not around and her mother is a drunk. She lives on the wrong side of town and has no friends until
Carrie moves in next door. I personally didn't like Carrie because if she were really Janie's friend she wouldn't hangout with people who hate Janie and go to their parties every weekend. Carrie has the same nightmare every time she spends the night with Janie, but she never says anything about it.
Janie starts hanging out with a used to be goth and pothead Cabel, who dreams of Carrie... And killing people. He kills the same man in every nightmare. When rumors of Cabel start to spread around the school and he stops talking to Janie, she believes he is dealing with Shays ( the girl who not so secretly likes Cabel ) father. There are also rumors about him and Shay. Janie avoids him as much as she can until he gives her no choice but to talk to him. It turns out Cabel is not who she thought he was.
