This isn’t my style of book. Way too much exposition—instead of revealing details through narrative or more natural dialogue, the characters are talking to each other in ways humans rarely talk, in information dumps. Perhaps I’ll revisit, as I do like thrillers and I like supporting Canadian authors. But I have too many other books on the go and must read list to give my attention at this point. Mystery, suspense can be written well, but this genre is always a roll of the dice for me.
