When Ian Malcolm says “life finds a way” in Jurassic Park, this is exactly what he meant when you tamper with things that you shouldn’t. I’ll leave it at that to keep this spoiler free, but it’s what Dory finds herself dealing with on the alien planet she lands on. Dory was at work in the middle of an important observation in the field, when she finds herself abducted mid attack. From there this book was nonstop fun from start to finish. I highly recommend the audiobook as the narrators add so much to it. If you enjoy a different take on fated mates, lots of chaos, a plot that’ll be unraveled through multiple books, and really good spice - then I think you’ll really enjoy this book. I can’t wait to see our main character lineup for book two.
