The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda
3.0
This was our book of the month for book club at work.
I'm not really into thrillers. I prefer to stick to my fantasy stuff.
I found this book to be very repetitive (at this point I think I'll never forget who got to the party at what time). As well as that it was quite unrealistic.
Being set in the modern day society (mainly 2017/18) and not having cameras around a town? Not being able to track a phone? No postmortem? They just assumed the cause of death. I know it's a fiction book, but come on.
And I had predicted the ending halfway through the book.
Not one of my favourites.
