I too was annoyed with this book for several reasons and I'm still in the first few chapters. I hate that Sabrina feels that she can hold all the cards. She can dismiss servants, and somehow even though the Duke of Stanthorpe has been paying the wages for supposedly loyal servants. They all lie to him by not telling him about Sabrina's "children". Really?! Where is their loyalty to their employer? Furthermore, she is blunt about why she wanted a rich man, but not honest to enough to tell her husband about her other children? That she can refuse and make demands? Even though this man married her without any formal and legal binding? Utter rubbish!! If I was Gideon...I would have annulled this marriage and fired all the damn servants and moved on... TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!
