This was a really cute romance. My only complaint is that Elliot was built up to be this heartthrob for Macy, all for my opinion of him to shatter in the last quarter of the book.
I wish the author would’ve found another way to root their problems, not what did happen. I just wasn’t impressed by it and it ruined the plot’s flow for me.
It reminded me a lot of Lowcountry Lost by T.I. Lowe.
