One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
by Ken Kesey
Having heard about this book through the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, I took it as a responsibility for me to read this book eventually. This book lived up to my expectations entirely. McMurphy is a tragic hero, who though deeply flawed, tries to get the gang to laugh, to live and to love. This book builds a world very similar to a lot of the dystopian-type books of the era, but reframes it in an absurd manner bursting with vivacity. As a huge fan of anything Kurt Vonnegut, if you fall into this same camp this book is for you.
