Years ago Lucy was found wandering the streets covered in her best friend's blood. Everyone is sure she is the killer, but there was never enough evidence found. Now, years later, a popular true-crime podcaster is diving into Lucy's story for season two. It's time for Lucy and everyone else in town to revisit that night and discover what really happened.
This book was a fun read, and it kept me engaged throughout the story. I loved the snarky and funny central character. Her great self-deprecating wit entertained me throughout the story.
I also appreciated that there wasn't a lot of graphic violence or spice, which has become hard to find in many of the adult mysteries and thrillers that I read. There were some, but they weren't too descriptive for me.
