Wolves of the Calla by Stephen King

I think this is now my favorite of the Dark Tower series even though it suffers from some of the same problems as previous books in the series. There are some slow parts here and the fact that I haven't read Salem's Lot yet meant that I didn't have any idea who Father Callahan was. But otherwise, this book holds together really well and expands the story in some new and intriguing ways. And it expands upon the world that King has created. Unlike the last one, it actually made me excited to read the next book in the series which was a nice change of pace. I'm determined to finally finish this series this year!
