When You Are Engulfed in Flames
by David Sedaris
This is my first experience with David Sedaris, and although I did laugh in some parts overall I found it to be less than the awesome I'd been told it was. The essays were interesting but disjointed, save for the last which is a diary-like chronicle of the author quitting smoking cold-turkey while in Japan. I'd pick up another book of his, but it wasn't the awesome experience I'd been led to believe.
