I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

5.0

wow. this book actually left me speechless. i was scrolling through the available now audiobooks from my library and just accidentally stumbled upon this one. i clicked on it randomly, knowing it wasn't the usual type of thing i would pick. i borrowed it anyway. i am so happy that i randomly decided to borrow this and just try to listen to it because i loved it. i feel like this is SUCH an important read and you should pick it up if you haven't already. it's shocking when you realize that you really knew nothing about someone you grew up idolizing as a kid. to read about someone who related to my struggles at a young age is comforting in a way. of course, our lives were not the exact same, but i can see myself in parts of this book. this is a book that everyone should read. it's worth it.
