Have you ever started a book that you were unsure of at the beginning, and then by the end, sitting in a puddle of tears?

đź“šBreathtaking, by Courtney Turcotte Bond, did just that! I started reading the novel, and then switched to audio, thanks @scribd . Once I began to listen, I fell into the story of Cara, her disengaged, dysfunctional parents, and her best friend Adam who lives next door, with his All-American family. We follow these two from grade school to high school, and through unspeakable tragedies. We then follow Cara as she attends college and tries to piece her life back together.

đź“šThis novel, a debut mind you, has beautiful prose, and the most amazing poetry. As a lover of language I began to wish I had a hard copy to highlight and underline, and write all over. Stunning!

đź“šAdditionally, this is based on a true story, with the most amazing twist, I never saw coming. Breathtaking is right!

đź“šBreathtaking is a story of loss, death, grief, depression and finding the strength to live again. This book is bound to make you smile, laugh and cry over and over again.

đź“šI received a digital copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
