Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas

slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? Yes
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
No rating due solely because it wasn't my taste of book. There was nothing inherently wrong with it, but I've come to find out I don't enjoy retellings much. Besides, the romance felt a little off-putting to me. Peter
knew Wendy's mom, met Wendy when she was 12, turning 13, and fell in love with her. They separated until reuniting when she turned 18, then they kissed. Considering Peter was physically aged up due to his magic loss, it wasn't like they were kissing while she was 18 and he was an appearance of an 11-13 year old boy. But he got feelings for her when she was 13??
No wonder everything on the island had begun to fall apart. Wendy had been the only living girl in Neverland. And Peter had developed feelings for her.
Felt a bit ick.
