Perhaps it's my love for the Italian language but this book has been my favorite Maeve Binchy book so far. It tells the story of many people from all walks of life coming together to take Italian lessons in the evening at a local high school.
In typical Binchy fashion, each person in the class has their story told. Some of them are more interesting than others. Lorenzo and Kathy and Fran's were my favorite. This is truly a book about people.
