Okay so not 1 star, but only because I didn’t finish it so maybe it redeems itself.
I was looking forward to reading this and having a main character I could relate to, but she’s portrayed as ridiculously naive that she doesn’t even know the basics.
The writing is trying so forcefully and exaggeratedly to be extra British. I only got 15% through and had to stop.
