This book scratched an itch for me after seeing the 2024 remake of Nosferatu (amazing). Beyond that, it was disappointing. There were glimpses of something great — there were points when the narrator expressed so vividly and relatablely the thoughts and feelings that come with being in love with a narcissist. It was a bit strange though, stretching out the process of realizing you’re in an abusive situation across centuries rather than years or decades.
Graphic: Death, Blood
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Gaslighting
